As I write this we are heading into Lockdown 2.0. Hopefully it will only be for 4 weeks, but who knows? I am not sure about you, but I cannot wait for this year to be over. If ever a year needed a reboot, it would most definitely be 2020. However since there is no option of doing that, the way for me to get through the next month is to remember the amazing travels I have done and to dream about what is to come.

It’s certainly not a hop, skip and a jump to get there. In fact it took a flight to Dublin, a two and a half hour drive across Ireland to a small airstrip outside of Galway and an eight minute flight in a tiny plane. But the absolute joy of Inis Meáin is in its remoteness. You really can’t go any further west in Europe. Next stop America.
